Practical
Using the same photoshop file, improvise your best composition from week 3 into week 4 by using adjustment layers and filters to enhance it. Then, explain what we learned in the description.
Before
DESCRIPTION:
From this exercise, I learned how to use the pen tool or magic wand tool to
cut out the object / shape I want or delete the background. Then, I could
freely place the cropped objects to create my collage. In my collage, I
placed the 2-coloured moon in the middle, with the boy and man walking on
opposite sides into different buildings. I thought it was an interesting
idea, it shows symmetry, balance and contrast.
After
DESCRIPTION:
In this image, I used the adjustment layers to edit the composition so that
the colors were more vibrant and it would pop out more. I used selective
color to adjust the colors of each element, for example the black on the
moon became greenish. I also adjusted the saturation, contrast and exposure
for certain elements.
