REFLECTIONS
Through this project, I was able to learn the basic principles of composition
by doing physical and digital collages. It was a fun experience doing the
physical collages by cutting out interesting elements from magazines and
putting them together. The digital collage was a similar process but
there were less limitations as we were able to edit and resize the elements
using tools in photoshop. It was a great opportunity for us to showcase our
creativity and style.
We were taught several basic skills of photoshop. For instance, I learned how
to crop and insert objects from one photo into another photo, as I did with
editing Shazam and myself into the Hearst Mansion photo. I also learned how to
recolor black and white photos into any color I want. It was quite an
enjoyable process and the outcome is satisfying as well.
